********REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE*********
I Have reserved the Post for Sunday, 16 December for our Post Christmas Party. This date was the only open date prior to Christmas. I desperately need a committee about 3 members, and 3 Auxiliary members, to put plans in place for our Christmas party. If its not too late, I would like to see about getting a band or a DJ. Since this is a Sunday, I had anticipated an early to mid afternoon event, but that is for the committee to decide. Please contact me directly if you can be of assistance.

Expressive Arts Project: Combat Paper:

Description (from the website www.combatpaper.org): “COMBAT PAPER transforms military uniforms into handmade paper. We believe in this simple yet enduring premise that the plant fiber in rags can be transformed into paper. A uniform worn through military service carries with it stories and experiences that are deeply imbued in the woven threads. Creating paper and artwork from these fibers carries these same qualities. We have found that all of us are connected to the military in a myriad of ways. When these connections are discovered and shared it can open a deeper understanding between people and expand our collective beliefs about military service and war.”
